Howdy Family!!
Cool side note so this recent
convert here in Clovis almost got married on the 8 but decided to move
her wedding to the 10 so she could go to the Albuquerque temple instead
of the Timp temple. But it was still a possibility!! Only the best people are born on January 8th :-D
This week just seemed to fly by! We had two short days in a
row with Prep day and New Years Eve. But we've been doing a lot of
walking around talking to people outside and we started doing knocking
towards the end of the week. We just don't have any investigators that
are ready to make the time to learn so we're looking for more. Plus
we've just been feeling that there is someone that we need to find
because we have just been totally lost as to were we need to go. So
we've been searching. And we may have found the people we've been
looking for. We went knocking and when we said prophets this girls face
just lit up and she invited us in. Her name is Fifi and here sisters are
Yasmin and Brianna. They're all teens we think and we haven't met there
mom yet but hopefully on Tuesday we will get to meet the mom and talk
to her so they can all learn together. We also were able to have a
really fun lesson with this family that has 5 kids. Lets just say it was
a little crazy and they all have a lot of energy but it was way fun to
get to teach them. We only got to teach them about Heavenly Father and
how He blesses us with families and Prophets but they were all really
involved and asking some good questions!
Well that's I think what the highlight of the week was. I also
made hootnannies for New Years Eve but I think I must have put in a
little too much flower so they were really thick! But they still tasted
pretty good! This week is also transfer calls so we'll see what
happens!!!
