Well this week in my area was so crazy but first I went on exchanges from
Tuesday through
Thursday!
Monday
We had three awesome lessons with James, Richy, and Isiah. With James
we taught about planting a seed of faith and helping it to grow then we
had a two lessons at the same time with Richy and Isiah. Super crazy but
soo awesome!!
On Tuesday
we had District Meeting and Sister Johnson being a sister training
leader gave the lesson on Learning the language of the spirit! It really
was a great lesson and I learned so much. The just of it was that we
need to learn not only how to speak with the spirit but also listen and
learn by the spirit. Soo good!! After DM we went to Portalas and did a
24 hour exchange with them then went to Clovis and did a 24 hour
exchange with the sisters there! I was able to learn soo much and it
really opened my eyes to ways to really do missionary work and ways to
not do missionary work. Mostly it all boils down to being obedient! I
had tons of fun and was able to do alot of biking and talking to people
out on the street! I also got to teach two lessons with just me and one
other missionary which was so cool!! One of my lessons was on the army
base in Clovis and that was soo cool! They have a mini town inside this
super guarded wall! It's like the most secure gated community you've
ever seen!! Definitely felt very safe there! tehe

Getting back
on Thursday
we had an appointment cancel but then just went to another lesson with
Isiah. We committed him to be baptized but and he accepted but wouldn't
go for a date. Still super awesome!!
On Friday
we were inside most of they day for weekly planning but when we got out
we went to work! We had a lesson at 6 but it was in Hagerman and it was
no drive day. So we road our bike 9 miles to Hagerman and taught a
super powerful lesson on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we had a member
there and it was soo great!!
Saturday
was totally crazy! We went and met and really funny old lady who is
really hunched over but is way cool!! She has a super sweet house and
really does have a great sense of humor! Later that day we met with
Richy and Isiah..brothers..and had a great lesson about the restoration
and asked them to be baptized on the
3 of August and they both said yes!!!! We are super excited!!!
Sunday
we had three of our investigators at church and two of them stayed for
all three meetings which is super awesome!! My comps and I actually
taught
Sunday school on Faith and all I could think of was Wade asking me.."Kayla what is Faith?" It was super great!!
So glad everyone is doing so well and I love that yall are having
so much fun at the lake and enjoying the mountains! It actually is
raining her today and is foretasted to rain for the next few days so
that will be nice to be not so hot!!
